BOLIVAR, Mo. — Undefeated Bolivar gained 560 yards in total offense here Friday night in taking a 52-0 victory over Fort Scott that sent the Tigers to their sixth consecutive loss.

Fort Scott (1-6) concludes regular-season play at Eudora Friday, Oct. 25. The Cardinals (2-5) lost to unbeaten Paola, 56-3. The game will be important for both teams as they look for the best possible first-round playoff match-up they can get.

The Tigers, with a minus-42 point total in the tie-breaker system, are in 14th place in Class 4A East while Ottawa, also 1-6, is at minus-66. Baldwin is in last place at 0-7, minus-90.

Eudora has a minus-31 point total, putting the Cardinals in 12th place. With them at 2-5 are Atchison at minus-42. If the Tigers win by enough points and Atchison loses to Kansas City-Sumner by enough, Fort Scott could end up in 12th.
