released its Week 4 rankings. Plenty of teams were given nods and recognition for their performance in Week 3.

In Class 4A, The Pittsburg Purple Dragons lost to 6A Blue Valley North, but remained in the Top 10. Chanute’s 2-1 start, with a close loss to Pittsburg in week 2 and dominating performance on Friday night, earned them the number 10 spot. It’s the first time the Blue Comets have entered the Top 10 this season.

In Class 2A, Humboldt remained in the top 10 with their narrow defeat of Eureka at the number 6 spot.

Olpe and Madison received the highest rankings of area teams with the number 3 position in Class 1A and 8M-I respectively. The Oswego Indians were also ranked in the 8M-I with their win over Altoona-Midway, earning them the number 10 spot.

Saint Paul held steady at number 4. The Indians had a dominating performance over West Elk on Friday night and will open up district play against fellow Three Rivers League member Colony-Crest.
