ALTAMONT, KS – The Chanute High School Girls Golf Team shot a combined 207 to take 1st place at the Labette County High School Girls Golf Invitational on Tuesday.

The conditions were described as “well….hot and very humid.” That didn’t detour Fort Scott’s Lauren Madison from placing first as she shot 41 with Pittsburg’s Hannah Holloman and Samantha Maceli tied for 2nd at 43.

Chanute’s Jerlyn Kustanborger led the Lady Blue Comets with a score of 45, placing her 4th.
