Chanute’s Adams Drops Hat Trick in 6-1 Comet Victory

Jacob Adams scored the first hat trick in Chanute High School soccer history on Tuesday as the Comets rolled on to a 6-1 win over the Fort Scott Tigers.

Adams started the game off hot with a goal in the 9th minute. He would knock in his second in the 23rd minute. His third and final goal was in the 29th minute, giving the Comets their first ever hat trick in only the first half of play. After the half, the Tigers’ David Brown would score their lone goal. Vittorio Kwek would add a goal for the Comets in the 68th minute. 2 minutes later, Jay Brown would finally get a goal after missing many great shot attempts. In the 79th minute Adrian Becannon would score Chanute’s final goal.
