FRONTENAC – On a hot, windy and a little humid Thursday afternoon it was the Frontenac Lady Raiders claiming 1st place in the Frontenac Invitational. Frontenac’s Autumn Bryant, Colgan’s Brenn Beykirch, Fredonia’s Zeli Estes, and Girard’s Marcy McDonald all tied for the top spot by finishing with a 49 on the day.
Frontenac as a team shot a day best 218 with Colgan placing 2nd with 245 and fellow CNC member Girard shot 252, good enough for 3rd place.
Baxter Spring’s Lindi Schmelzer placed 5th with a 52 while Fronteanc’s Brianna Green placed 6th with a 54.
