KPreps.com released their Week 8 Football rankings that saw one SEK-Sports.com move in to their top 5 while others stayed pat, if not moved down.
In Class 3A, the lone addition in SEK-Sports.com coverage area teams came from Frontenac, who is undefeated and will meet up with fellow undefeated CNC member Columbus for the district title on Friday night.
Class 2A saw no movement in 1-5 as the Humboldt Cubs remained steady at the 5th spot. The Cubs will need a win Friday night at Southeast to claim a 2nd straight district title.
The Olpe Eagles remained stagnant behind Smith Center in Class 1A. Olpe also will battle for a district title on Friday night when they host Hillsboro.
In 8M-I, the Madison Bulldogs maintained the 4th spot with their district title win over league rival Burlingame and in 8M-II the Saint Paul Indians slipped to the 5th spot after their 71-0 win over Chetopa. That game was called before halftime.
