The Galena Bulldogs edged out the Frontenac Raiders in the 2019 CNC Coaches Poll.

Galena finished the 2018 campaign 6-0 in the league and 11-1 overall with a 21-0 loss in the Sub-State Championship against eventual 3A State Champion Sabetha.

Frontenac was eliminated by Galena in the first round of the 2018 playoffs.

Due to the 2019 KSHSAA Football Playoff format, not all of the CNC teams will face off against one another to determine a true champion for the 2nd consecutive year.

Galena, Girard, Frontenac, Columbus and Baxter Springs all compete in the 3A classifications this year.

The Riverton Rams will compete in the 2A classification of football this year.

St. Mary’s Colgan is the lone 1A competitor of the CNC League.

Here is how the CNC League was voted on by league coaches, despite not having a league champion, in predicted order of finish this year.

In our Football Fan Poll here’s the predicted order of finish, based on who received the most votes.
