CHERRYVALE – The LCHS Lady Grizzly volleyball team traveled to Cherryvale Saturday where they faced off against St. Mary’s Colgan and Independence, who were ranked in the top 10 in the latest Kansas Volleyball Association poll.
“We played pretty well in the morning and even against undefeated Colgan. I think we ran out of gas during bracket play, made too many errors, and crumbled under pressure. I believe we are getting better each time we play, and we have such potential. I just want us to play like winners regardless who is across the net from us.” said Labette County Volleyball head coach Heather Wilson.
