“This was a great tournament to help define our season. I hope its a turning point for us.”
Those were the words of Labette County volleyball head coach Heather Wilson. The Lady Grizzlies traveled to Chanute Saturday to play in a season so far filled with up’s and down’s.
“We can play as well as we choose to. The matches against Chanute, who is a very good team, will hopefully propel us through some league matches to come. I’m proud of the girls and their tenacity over the course of the day. We still have things to work on , but we’ve come a long way.”
