Junior quarterback Devan McEwan accounted for seven scores in Lebo‘s 64-14 Victory over Marais Des Cygnes Valley on Friday.

The Wolves jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first 12 minutes of play, with passing touchdown from McEwan to Jerome Ferguson. Andrew Bailey accounted for the other score of the quarter, rushing into the endzone from four yards out.

McEwan would add three more passing touchdowns before the first half came to a close, connecting with Ferguson, Luke Davies, and Kadon Schroeder.

MDCV would pick up their first score on the evening from Cole Lacey on a 3-yard touchdown run. Lacey would add another score in the third, but that would be all the Trojan offense could muster against Lebo. Lacey finished the night with 100 yards on 16 carries.

Ferguson would be on the receiving end of another McEwan pass for a touchdown in the third, this time from 43 yards out. McEwan would find the endzone two more times on the ground, one from 19 yards out and another for 26 yards.

Lebo would amass 337 yards of total offense while holding MDCV to 167. McEwan finished the evening 10 for 13 passing for 206 yards and four touchdowns. He also led the rushing attack with 60 yards and three scores.

Lebo will take their perfect record on the road when they travel to face the Green Hornets from Chetopa (0-2) on Friday. The Wolves defeated Chetopa last season 46-0.

MDCV will continue to search for their first win of the year when they host Burlingame (2-0) Friday. The Trojans have not defeated Burlingame since 2011.
