2019 Recap
Although our record did not show many wins, we did show vast improvements as far as working as a team. The players learned to be more disciplined and really came together to promote the unified team concept. Many players stepped forward into leadership roles both on and off the field. It was a very nice experience to witness.
Like many schools across the state, the biggest challenge is getting players to come out for football. I had a few that had never played before and a few that played in different positions. With recruiting through the hallways and community, I hope to see an increase in numbers this season.
After evaluating last season and visiting with team captains, we know we are going to have to work harder during the off season to get stronger and more physical. These kids are very hard workers and are starting to become more willing to put the time and effort forth into getting better both on and off the field.

2020 Outlook
Our biggest challenge of last season was overcoming small numbers. We averaged 15 eligible kids a game. This year, they know what it takes to do better and expectations for success will be higher. Our strengths will lie in our senior leadership and in our depth. Instead of just one individual, I am looking forward to the leadership from the senior class as a group. Their work ethic so far should prove me right.
The team will need to be able to pass the ball, cut down on turnovers, and play more disciplined defense. I expect them to keep improving from week to week, and have a positive attitude in the classroom as well as on the field.
