Only one SEK-Sports.com coverage area team dropped out of the KPreps.com week 4 football poll while two teams moved up in rankings.
In Class 1A, with their hard-fought win on Friday night, the Olpe Eagles moved up one spot to the number three position. The Eagles will host Maranatha Academy. Class 1A will be the only classification not beginning district play this week.
In Class 8M-I, Madison propelled from the number 5 spot to the number 4 spot. The Bulldogs took care of business against their league opponent Hartford by a 63-0 decision. Madison opens up district play on the road against Centre-Lost Springs this Friday night.
Finally in Class 8M-II, Saint Paul remains locked in the 4th position. The Indians defeated West Elk handedly 52-6. In fact, Saint Paul has outscored opponents 162-32 through 3 weeks this season. Saint Paul will host fellow Three Rivers League member Colony-Crest to begin their district play.
Pittsburg fell out of the top 5 rankings with their loss to Blue Valley North, a 6A school
