The Humboldt Cubs shutout win, propelled by the impressive rushing effort of Conor Haviland, kept Humboldt not only undefeated but also in the KPreps.com Top 5 in Class 2A at the number 5 spot. Humboldt will take on Erie, whose defense was diced up by the Riverton run game.
The Madison Bulldogs won their offensive battle against Maranatha Christian Academy on Friday night by a score of 68-58 and it was enough to hold the number 4 spot in the 8-Man Division I rankings. Also in the 8-Man side of things, at the Division II level Saint Paul held steady at the 4th spot with a 48-0 win over Colony-Crest, which included Adam Albertini’s impressive offensive performance in which he was involved in 5 of the teams 6 offensive touchdowns.
