ARKANSAS CITY – Oxford High School’s Andrew Hills has established a new school record for rebounds in a single game.
The senior pulled down 20 boards in the Wildcats’ 68-43 victory over Flinthills in last Thursday’s boy’s consolation semifinals of the 40th annual Dale Misak South Central Border League Basketball Tournament in Arkansas City.
He broke the previous record of 17 held by Gage Burkes against Flinthills during the 2012-13 season. Hills finished the game against Flinthills with a 20/20 performance, adding a game-high 25 points while also recording five assists, two steals, and one block.
