Owen Blandamer – Senior Fredonia, Kansas
I have had the pleasure of watching Owen run the football a couple of time while watching the Yellow Jackets play. The thing that always comes to mind when explaining how he plays is – Tough. The kid gives everything he has to give out there on Friday nights. He finished at towards the top of the Tri Valley league in 2017 in rushing yards on a 3-6 team. That’s when he really stood out to me. Blandamer just kept running hard even in games where they might be down by a big margin. His teammates say Owen is a great leader that leads by example. Fredonia is off to a good start in 2018 with a 4-1 record and is sitting great in district play (2-0) with 14 points .
